Journey Forward

Not that long ago, a good friend's son was injured in a ski accident, and suffered a pretty bad spinal cord injury. The summer before the accident, I had been fortunate to surf with him a few times and got to know him a bit better...he is just a great, great kid. One of the things he wanted to do the most was get back in the water. With the help of many friends and strangers, he has been able to do that twice now. It is a moving experience not only for him, but for all those that can help.

A big reason, aside from his endless hard work and determination, has been Journey Forward. They have been absolutely instrumental in helping him regain strength and confidence. Here is a link to read more and donate:
